MESMAC Relationships and Sexual Education ( Secondary)

Yorkshire MESMAC is commissioned to support the city through sexual health promotion and prevention.

We will work with schools to identify and supply expert visitors, for example HIV positive speakers, CSE specialists and Peer Educators. We will also provide workshops for young people to make Relationships and Sex Education topics easily understood such as Sexual Health, Contraception, Sexuality, Gender Identity and STIs.

We work in partnership with Hull schools to give them access to the information and skills they need to deliver a comprehensive programme of Relationships and Sex Education that provides accurate information about the body, reproduction, relationships, consent, sex and sexual health, which reflects the 12 principles of effective Relationships and Sex Education. We also deliver training to schools for their staff.
This is a FREE service to all schools in Hull.”

We also provide sexual health interventions, one to one sessions, testing and screening, training and workshops and volunteering opportunities.
