Services available for Young People
There are lots of different people and services that can support you for different issues. We know it can be confusing sometimes, knowing where to ask for help or support, and sometimes it can feel as though there isn’t anyone that will understand or help.
This section will let you know of all the services that you could turn to, with a range of services depending upon your worry or issue.
If you are feeling worried, stressed, feeling down or are being bullied, your school nurse or a youth worker may be your first point of call – they are there to listen and support you. You may need to access counselling, more specialist support for more difficult issues, or if you feel you are in a crisis, there is a team that can support you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is important that if you feel something is wrong, you speak to someone as soon as possible, and that can be whoever you trust and feel most comfortable talking to, such as a parent, carer or teacher. Your trusted adult may support you to access the right support, if this isn’t them.
