Bridge Over Troubled Water
By Ryan

I saw the Humber Bridge in the distance
I felt a rumble in my tummy
I could remember the story
The waves below the bridge
Crash into each other like a trap
The coldness hit my figure
I remembered when I was seven
I was scared to go on the bridge
I didn’t feel protected from the thoughts
Because the water boggles my mind
There was no protection from the wind
And we put messages in a bottle
And hope it will be found out at sea
The bridge is dull, just like a bad storm
What will not help at all
