(0-19 Integrated Public Health Nursing Service)
(Primary and Secondary)
The 0-19 Integrated Public Health Nursing Service is made up of Health Visitors and School Nurses who are qualified in public health nursing. They are the universal named point of referral for all children, young people, and families. They are specialists in holistic health needs assessments and working with children, young people, and families to meet any identified health need in conjunction with partnership agencies.
For students aged 5-19 years we are commissioned to provide:
PSHE (Growing Up) lessons in both Year 5 and 6
Bespoke offer to Special Schools with age related Relationship & Sex Education, Physical
Health and Fitness, PSHE support as mutually agreed with the school in
either groups or one to one.
Internet Safety (Kid Alert) and First Aid (IMPS)
We also teach Handwashing, Healthy Eating and Activities, and Transition Support in Groups/Classes to all Primary Schools at the schools’ request.
We provide weekly pop-ins for young people in Secondary Schools across Hull.
